As part of Exprodesk’s music industry export initiative, the Department of Economic Affairs Commerce and Industry, has implemented a four-step project/plan, named ‘Music Market Ready’, which includes multiple workshops/webinars with music industry experts, an one-on-one coaching program and sponsorship from SETAR NV to implement their Export Plan in step 4. This project started in August 2020 and is still going on. The selected musicians are now in the last step, where they are implementing everything they learned in the first tree steps. Step 4 is a change in metrics for each artist on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Streaming Platforms. This change in metrics during and after the digital promotion period in step 4, will show the artists the amount of control they can have on the market reach of their releases and will further drive the message of the importance of “digital promotion as a constant activity”.
